Step 1: Download & Create Your Account

Head to the App Store or Google Play and search for MindJoy. Once installed, open the app and create your parent account using your email address. You will receive a verification email — tap the link to activate your account.

Step 2: Set Up Your Family

After signing in, you will be prompted to create your Family Space. Give it a name (for example, "The Smith Family") and you are ready to add your children.

Step 3: Add Your Children

Tap "Add Child" and enter your child's name, age, and avatar. MindJoy uses this information to personalize missions and difficulty levels. You can add multiple children — each gets their own profile and progress tracking.

Step 4: Explore Mission Templates

Browse the Mission Library to see what is available. Missions are organized by category:

  • Learning — Reading, math, science activities
  • Chores — Household tasks and responsibilities
  • Creative — Drawing, music, building projects
  • Physical — Sports, outdoor activities, exercise
  • Social — Kindness challenges, helping others

Step 5: Assign Your First Mission

Pick a mission that fits your child's interests and tap "Assign". You can customize:

  • Deadline — When should it be completed?
  • XP Reward — How many experience points to award
  • Coin Bonus — Extra coins for completing on time

Step 6: Watch the Magic Happen

Your child opens MindJoy and sees their mission waiting. When they complete it, they submit proof (a photo or parent confirmation), earn their rewards, and level up!

Pro Tips for New Families

  • Start small — Assign 1-2 missions per day at first
  • Mix categories — Combine learning with fun activities
  • Celebrate wins — The XP and coins system does this automatically, but a real high-five goes a long way
  • Check the dashboard — Your Parent Dashboard shows real-time progress and weekly reports
  • Set screen time limits — Use the built-in controls to manage daily usage

What Happens Next?

As your children complete missions, they earn XP to level up, coins to spend in the virtual shop, and badges for special achievements. You will receive weekly progress reports and can adjust difficulty as they grow.

Ready to start? Open MindJoy and assign your first mission today!
